Agriculture 4.0 and Communities

undefined

The initiative stems from collaboration between researchers from the Universities of Strathclyde and Calabria, professors from the territory and local entrepreneurs, united by a common vision of agriculture that integrates advanced computational systems, sensor networks and data analysis with consolidated agronomic skills and deep knowledge of the territory.

The workshop will take place between the classrooms and laboratories of the University of Calabria and the fields of Terzeria, offering participants an immersive experience that alternates theory and practice. Technical sessions will explore the integration of artificial intelligence, satellite observation and computational modeling in Mediterranean agriculture, while socio-economic roundtables will address the challenges of digital inclusion and equitable development in rural areas.

This event aims not only as a moment of scientific exchange, but as a catalyst for a new alliance between technology and territory, where innovation becomes an instrument of emancipation for rural communities and custodians of Mediterranean biodiversity.
